Established in 2021
Agri Poppe was born through a passion for technology and agriculture.
Bennie has long been active in the agricultural world, mainly in the beet sector. Over time, it became clear to him that harvesting potatoes also had some difficulties, and not only in the clay soil of Zeeland, but also on other soils at home and abroad. With this in mind, together with two sons, Robert and Michiel, he started thinking whether this could not be done better.
After an innovative invention, it was later built on a Kverneland for testing. The performance exceeded all expectations and it proved to be a hit. After being patented, the product is now available to be sold.

Our team
Robert Poppe
Robert has more than 10 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and maintaining aircraft and drones. Interest in agricultural machinery always remained and prototypes were made for the “hobby” to test new systems.
Robert graduated from Delft University of Technology at the Aerospace Faculty on the subject Control Simulation and is experienced as head of research development in the aviation sector.
Jos Butijn
Jos is a great motivator for innovation in agricultural technology and has enabled us to develop the AP-LIFT system into what it is today. This by facilitating a workshop, storage and numerous ideas to further improve the potato harvesting setup. Jos is highly technically skilled, combined with years of experience in growing and harvesting potatoes, making him an expert in this field of application. Since the first test run, Jos has been the machine’s test driver, providing valuable feedback to fine-tune the combination of machine and AP-LIFT to ensure optimal performance in all conditions.
Bennie Poppe
Bennie has a lifetime of experience in the agricultural industry, starting at a young age in the field. Followed by a career at Riecam, where the feeling for designing potato and beet harvesters was further developed. For the last 25 years Bennie has been active as production manager of Vervaet sugar beet harvesters.
